Use these watchmaker's tins to make an eye-catching shadowbox layout. A square layout can hold nine tins, giving you plenty of space to put your elements, ephemera and photos.
If you use Corel Paint Shop Pro X, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Photoshop Elements, included in this kit is a fully layered .psd file. All you have to do is add your photos and elements. Maybe add a background paper to the back of the box. Then you're all set.
If you use any other graphics program that cannot read layered .psd files, then you can still use this kit. The box top, box bottom, tin tops and tin bottoms, already arranged to fit together perfectly, are included as .png files. To assemble, put the box bottom on the lowest layer. On the layer above it, add the tin bottom, then the tin tops. Use the box top as your top layer.
The box is sized at 12" by 12". It comes with a top and a bottom. The round, aluminum watchmaker's tins come as a set of nine, arranged in a square, to fit into the box perfectly. They come with the tin top and the tin bottom as separate files. Just remember to add your elements or photos on the layer between the tin top and the tin bottom.
Also, an individual watchmaker's tin is included with this kit, so you can use it alone in your layouts. Try using the box by itself, as well.
See the sample layout included with the kit for ideas on how to use these watchmaker's tins.
