Retro Street: Furry Friends

We can't forget our furry friends when it comes to making layouts, so I made this kit especially to go with those photos of your dog. This large kit comes blues, reds and pale yellows, with the wrinkly texture of quilted fabric. It comes with five backgrounds, one of which is a pieced quilt out of patterned fabric that has the look of a 1940s vintage handmade quilt. One of the backgrounds has the look of a book, with images that harken back to a retro-style textbook.
There are two cutouts of boys with their doggies, six old-fashioned labels featuring dogs, two pages that look as if they've been torn from the pages of a 1940s-era textbook and two tags hanging from a ball chain that is pinned to the background. There are three colorful buttons, a staple, a safety pin, a red tie, brown straight stitching, an old card left blank for you to write on (it barely shows in the preview) and a piece of torn paper (not shown in preview). I love the children's puppy dog book called "The Playful Puppy," and the little black plastic dog charm. Finally, there are two applique dogs, pieced together with fabric and outlined in brown stitching.
