My dd, for her 3rd birthday.
Journaling::
For her third birthday, Eliza began the day with pancakes, syrup and strawberries.
She was eager to ride her bike, wear her princess dress, and of course, eat cake! Eliza wore her princess dress. She rode her bike on the balcony - pedaling will come soon... Daddy took the girls to the park while Mommy finished the cake. Grandma and Grandpa called that afternoon, and we found the package they sent. An alphabet book of foods, and simple puzzles! Aunt Teri sent two Japanese coloring books from Japan. She had ravioli with alfredo sauce for dinner. Mommy helped her eat each bite at the end so she could eat dessert... her birthday cake! We made the chocolate buttermilk cake. She loved the frosting the most! A busy and happy birthday!

Jennifer, this is absolutely exquisite! I love that photo of your adorable daughter, and the wings and crown are the perfect touch. I didn't even recognize the background, LOL, because you've really made all these elements your own. The crocheted lace, the way you have the photo edge a little off-kilter, the titling, the use of the baby's breath - it all is simply stunning and eye-catching. I love looking at all the minute details because they're all perfectly placed.

This is so fun and whimsical. Everything is so wonderfully detailed. I love the way you journaled her special day. You are way better than I am. I rely on my memory and that is bad! Your whole layout will be such a great memory for Eliza!
