Cameron and his grandparents went on a two-day mini vacation during spring break. Here he is at Knott's Berry Farm on the Scream ride.
In this layout, I duplicated the photo, with one copy right under the other. Then, I cut out the image of Cameron on the top layer. On the bottom layer, I used the "hue" blending layer to achieve that colorful effect. Then, on that same bottom layer, I used a dirty brush to carefully erase some of the hard edges to the photo. The blending technique will be discussed in Laura Lou Bashlor's Chatique technique for this week on our blog.
Credits: Everything is from my mother's amazing Bloomin' Crazy Freestyle Collection for this layout. The Soar High and Wide word art is going to be given away as a gift on our blog, so watch for it.

Kathryn, this is such a wonderful extraction/blending layout! Your son looks so happy (in that scared, adrenalin-filled kinda way you get when you're on a ride!) and this is such a cool layout!

That blending of the photo is really a great technique. I like how you used the circles to make flowers too. Fabulous.
