Spending the night at my best friend's house. No little brothers to bug me. Just lots of girl talk, eating, laughing, playing games, trying out new makeup, listening to music and having fun.
When I look at this old picture, I see so much that was 1955. My hair done up in pincurls with a colorful silk skarf wrapped around my head 'just so'. Baby doll pajamas, made by my Mom, with elastic around the neck and puffy sleeves and bloomer shorts that matched. My boyfriend's signant ring on a chain around my neck and never taken off! My lips were bright red, as we had spent the evening trying out new liquid colors that stayed on forever! We never got much sleep as there was just so much to talk about. Her Mom would come in and say that it was time to go to sleep, but pretty soon we were at it again. Wonderful Memories!

WOW! You did a great job on this one! I absolutely love the journaling. What memories this layout brings back. I could never do my own pin curls, but had friends who were glad to do them for me. I think we lived in a magical time!
