journaling: August 22, 1981 - Big family gathering for nephew, David's Wedding. I was working in Havre. Lance would soon be going to Helena to study auto mechanics at the Vo-Tech. Brett was heading back to the University in Missoula. Tonight we were enjoying each other and having a great time at the Wedding and the Dance.
This is my Retro entry for this week. This picture had really strong brown tones that I did not want. In my program I can work with color levels and I played around with it until the colors were more natural and clearer. It seems like photos scanned from the 70's and 80's take some serious work, but it is worth it.
This captures such a wonderful time for us together and with all of our extended family. We were each on our own adventures, but located hundreds of miles apart in our large state. So any chance to get together was welcome.

Very nice! It has such a nice feel of a loving family. The tux and bow tie remind me of another photo that I have. Maybe I will get it scrapped too!
Thanks for sharing!

Great work with the colors. I wnder why, universally, those photos take on such bad colors. WOnderful work with the photo and then showcasing it in Retro 70s style
