I was thrilled when I found this photograph of my grandparents looking lovingly into each other’s eyes. I’ve planned to scrap it “someday” and this challenge seemed a perfect time to do so. I used KEflin_journal_bookframe from her Vintage Journal Kollage kit, recoloring it just a bit. The rest is from Kathryn’s new Little Jake Kit. The burlap background is my own. I used a sepia layer style that I made on the photographs.

What a wonderful way to present this story. I feel like I just had a peek at your interesting desktop. Make SURE you preserve that story for your descendants. Keeping the photos and stories together is an awesome responsibility.

What a perfect heritage page and photo. Would love to read your journaling in the future. There are so many wonderful stories to share with family.
