I took my new camera to the mountains yesterday - left the dogs at home and just went to practice shooting. Learned a LOT -- especially to leave your camera ON all the time. When I was walking back to my vehicle, this tiny little fellow was at the side of the path nibbling on some grass. I barely had time to raise the camera and snap -- certainly no time to play with settings. I couldn't believe I actually captured a good image! Woo Hoo!

Awww . . . that is an awesome photo. Your layout is gorgeous. It looks like a card, and could certainly be used as one. Congrats on your new camera. I just ordered a new telephoto lens for my camera. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. :0)

Wow, this is gorgeous! What a great photo and love how you used the twigs and flowers. That alpha is great too by the way.

The photo is simply amazing. Don't you just love it when all the forces come together for good once in awhile? All the naural elements just add to the whole effect. This is perfect.

Karen, this is gorgeous! Such a wonderful photo and I love hearing about how you came to capture him on film/digital. I love the added touches of the pinecone and flowers... simply wonderful!
