I am really enjoying the variations of the 3-4 photo layouts that have been posted for week 2 of the challenge.
Mine is made from old photos that were scanned from my mother's scrapbook. I also scanned a piece of the paper in it. I made the old car background with brushes that I also made. Although the pictures appear to be just scattered I spent a lot of time arranging them. I am an oil painter and am very aware of eye movement in a painting or layout. I attempted to keep the eye moving in a circle around the layout. The frame and paper behind the writing are from Kathryn Balint. I put a tiny frame around my mother's picture in the car on the lower right photo. I have always been fascinated with the old cars in my parent's photographs & have done several layouts of them. I wonder if my grandchildren will laugh at the cars in my old pictures someday? I used Dr Carbfred for my font. It is new to me and I think it will become one of my favorites.

Wow, Sallie!!! This is beautiful! I love the old pictures. You're so lucky to have such tresures of your mother. And the background you made is perfect! I too love that font! It looks great with vintage layouts!

This is a Beautiful Layout Sallie and you definitely achieved your goal of keeping the eyes moving around the page! Love your photos, and the curled picture action or frame. Awesome brushes! Just a great heritage layout all the way around!

What a creative twist! Love the curled photos with not-curled ones. It looks like your mom was a dun gal...so like my own mom. This has to go into my faves to use with almost identical photos I have.
