This weekend, my mother and I worked on this Sally Jean-inspired charm bracelet using the 7Gypsies Naked Charms and Naked Bracelette sold here at KB and Friends. She plans to give it to a friend of her as a birthday gift.

I'll be doing a write-up in the newsletter with all of the "how-to" information on this bracelet. Let's just say there was a lot of trial and error to get this right.

All of the charms have mini digital scrapbooking layouts on the front and the back. Each one represents something personal to my mother's friend. For instance, one charm says "Teaching diva" on the front and "She had eyes in the back of her head" on the back. Another has "Mom" stamped (digitally) onto the front and "Mother - she wore many hats" on the back. She likes to waterski, so one charm represents the "Slalom Queen" in her; the back says, "She jumped the wake recklessly." My mother's friend is a whiz in the kitchen, so we made a "Culinary Cutie Pie" charm to depict that. The back says "This dish knew her way around the kitchen." And the last charm is for the "River Goddess" because my mother's friend has a cabin at the river. The back says, "She desperately wanted to dip her toe in."

This is a fantastic gift! Love the way your SJ inspired charms turned out and the 'inspire' charm looks great on there too. I can't wait to have time to make mine!

Very cool, but what I find very clever is what you scrapped and wrote on each charm! This will be a very special gift indeed!

This is GORGEOUS! I've had the bracelet and charms sitting in my stash since last November and I think you've inspired me to finally use them!
